Glenn Edward Sizemore, born on March 24, 1936, in Spartanburg County, passed away on March 17, 2026. A devoted family man and proud United States Marine, Glenn lived a life marked by service, dedication, and deep affection for those he loved.

Glenn’s commitment to his family was evident throughout his life. He was the beloved husband of Linda Bates Sizemore, with whom he shared 18 years of marriage. His legacy continues through his children: son, Ken Sizemore and his wife, Michele of Surfside Beach, and daughter, Tanya Meza and her husband, Chompis of Myrtle Beach. He also cherished his sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, whose lives he greatly enriched.

In addition to his biological children, Glenn was a devoted stepfather to William Long, married to Joann of Clearwater, FL; Kevin Berry, married to Kristin of Mt. Pleasant; and Kim Beach, married to Steve of Columbia. These relationships added further depth and joy to his family circle.

Glenn’s early years were shaped by his parents, Clarence Sizemore and Myrtle Smith Sizemore. He endured the loss of his son, Glenn “Eddie” Sizemore, his parents and a sister, Gertrude Smith who predeceased him.

Throughout his life, Glenn Edward Sizemore exemplified the values of courage, loyalty, and unwavering love for his family. His service in the United States Marine Corps was a testament to his strength and dedication to his country. He will be remembered fondly by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege to know him.
