Gordon Milton Walker

Gordon Milton Walker, 82, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023.

The family will have a private memorial service.

Mr. Walker was born on December 10, 1940, in Hopkinsville, KY.  He was the son of the late Clarence Walker, Sr. and the late Madeline W. Walker.  He served his country in the United States National Guard.  He was a member of several car clubs, Street Rods Unlimited in Charleston and Edisto Cruisers in Orangeburg.  He was the owner and operator of Walker Alarm Company for over 40 years.  Mr. Walker enjoyed metal detecting, antiques and watching USC gamecock sports. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Kathy M. Walker; daughters, Stephanie Walker Crosby (Jimmy) of Elgin, Vivian Avelsgaard (Matthew) of Wolfton; grandson, Jordan Walker Crosby of Spartanburg; sister, Dawn Dade of Hopkinsville, KY and a number of nieces and nephews.
