Mrs. Grace R. Tyler , 98 of Orangeburg went to be with the Lord at home on Wednesday, June 17, 2015.
***The Casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service*** ***Visitation will be 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM Saturday before the service at the church***
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Northside Baptist Church in Orangeburg with burial at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg with Rev. Shane Stutzman and Rev. Jim Parnell officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg
Pallbearers will be Jerry Whitesides, Theo Milhouse, Jim Arant, Glen Hunter, John Cook and William Myers

Mrs. Tyler was born May 18, 1917 in Orangeburg County; the daughter of the late William Crook Rast and the late Florrie Cook Rast. She was retired owner of Tyler's Floor Covering; a member of Northside Baptist Church, Faith Sunday School class and she taught Sunday School for about 50 years. She was also a very talented artist. She was the widow of the late Woodrow Wilson Tyler, Sr. and was preceded in death by a son; Barry Allen Tyler; 2 brothers; Cullen Rast and George Truitt Rast and 1 sister; Rosemary Wolfe.
Survivors include one son; Woodrow "Woody" Tyler, Jr. and wife Judy of Orangeburg; also one daughter; Moneen "Neen" and husband Bill of Dunnellon, FL; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Friends may call at her residence; 2771 Neeses Hwy.; Orangeburg and at the funeral home.
Visitation will be held 12:00 NOON to 2:00 PM Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the church before the service.
