Mr. Grady M. Alderman, 91, of the Four Holes Community, died Friday, March 1, 2013 at his residence.
Services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home Chapel, 301 NE Ivanhoe Blvd., Orlando, Florida 32804, burial will be in Glenn Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in Winter Park, Florida, with full military honors.
Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home before the funeral service.
Mr. Alderman was born July 14, 1921 in Valdosta, GA, a son of the late Timothy Mitchell Alderman and the late Lillian Irene Wells Alderman. He was retired with 28 years from the United States Army and retired from the United States Post Office. He also served in the National Guard. He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Lang Alderman; and a son, Mitchell Alderman.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon and William Maltbie of New York and Kathy and Ronnie Sims of Orangeburg, SC; one son, Grady M. Alderman, Jr., of Charleston, SC; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Alderman of Neeses, SC; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
