Grover Cleveland Adicks, 83 of Cope died Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
A Graveside Service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery in Cope with Rev. Alan Woodward officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
He was born April 30, 1930 in Orangeburg County, SC; the son of the late Grover Cleveland Adicks and the late Cora Kittrell Adicks. He was a member of Canaan Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters; Myrtle Parish, Elma Brickle and Elizabeth Green and 5 brothers; Ed Adicks, Charles Adicks, Glenn Adicks, George Adicks and John Adicks.
Survivors include 1 brother; Carl Adicks of Canaan Community; 1 sister; Annie L. Sanders of Cordova; 3 sisters-in-law; Nancy Adicks, Peggy Adicks and Dot Adicks all of Canaan Community and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.
