Grover Frank "Fiddler" Haigler, 71 of St. Matthews died Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Jamison Community with burial at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg with Rev. Scott Wagner officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Pallbearers will be Johnnie Turner, Johnny Haddock, Mike Haigler, Jody Riley, Dwayne Dewitt and Audie Haigler

Honorary Pallbearers will be His Masonic Brothers; The Deacons of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church; Bernie Medley, Whetsell Williams, Sid Goff, Dale Williams, Johnny Bell and Waylon Williams

He was born March 11, 1943 in Calhoun County, SC; the son of the late Arthur Daniel Haigler and the late Maggie Florence Smith Haigler. He served in the National Guard and was retired from Guess Farm Equipment in St. Matthews. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Jamison.

Survivors include his wife; Faye Coker Haigler of St. Matthews; step-children; Debra Williams and Norris O'Cain; Tomette Edgemon, Johnnie Turner and Shan (Jennifer) Benton of all of St. Matthews; grandson; Dwayne (Ashley) Dewitt of Cope; grandchildren; Chris O'Cain; Jennifer (Heath) Hightower and Travis Benton and Shana Benton; a number of nephews and nieces; Audie Haigler, Audrey Haigler, Johnny Haddock, Sam Gross; Lucy Gross, Layne Oswald, Shana Benton, Cindy and Jennifer Haigler; Ann Black, William Jr. and Lisa Haigler, Carolyn and Pat Connor, Mike and Barbara Haigler, Donald and Larry Gleaton; Donnie and Sharon Gleaton, Josh Gleaton and Chris Gleaton.

Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, December 5, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
