Grover Lee Williams , 85   of Cameron  passed away Friday, October 20, 2017 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.

The Casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service at the church

Funeral Services will be held   2:00 PM Sunday, October 22, 2017at Columbia Road Church of God in Orangeburg with burial at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg with Rev. Keith Vaughn officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Pallbearers will be Grandchildren, Todd Troutman, Travis Troutman, Andrew Price, Great grandchildren, Nicholas Dukes, Dalton Whisenhunt and a nephew, Danny Fogle

He was born July 16, 1932 in Cameron, SC; the son of the late Ulysses Williams and the late Simmie Kemmerlin Williams Troutman. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Columbia Road Church of God and was a member of the VFW. He was preceded in death by a son, Melvin O’Neal Williams.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Oreta Nettles Williams of the home; 2 daughters; Elaine Williams Lawson of Orangeburg and Lynnett Price (Lee) of West Columbia; 5 grandchildren; Todd Troutman, Travis (Jennifer) Troutman, Andrew Price, Heather Whisenhunt, Lacey (Mark) Trent and 10 great grandchildren.

Friends may call at his residence.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the funeral home.
