Harold Kenneth Mims, Jr.

Harold Kenneth Mims, Jr., 76, of Rowesville passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Thompson Funeral Home, 1012 Whitman St., Orangeburg, S. C. from 10:30 a.m. until 12 noon followed by a graveside service at Eutawville Cemetery, 117 Miracle Dr., Eutawville, S. C.  29048.

Mr. Mims was the son of the late Harold Kenneth Mims, Sr. and the late Vernell Cooper Mims of Holly Hill.  He was employed for many years in the Orangeburg area.  He served his country in the United States Air Force and the United States Navy.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Gail Mims Albergotti Osborne.

Survivors include his wife, Eladia R. Mims, of the home; son, Harold Kenneth Mims, III of Orangeburg; daughter, Jane Mims Massenburg (Paul) of Santee; grandchildren, Julia Elise Massenburg, Myra Eladia Massenburg; great-grandchild, Ephraim Isaac Massenburg; niece, Melissa Dawn Albergotti; nephew, Ken Albergotti and a great-niece, Virginia Mims Stewart.
