Henry "Buddy" Angus Judy, Sr.

Henry Angus (Buddy) Judy, Sr., 76, of Norway, S.C. passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Jolley Acres Heathcare Center.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P. M. on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Lebanon United Methodist  Church, 768 Calvary Church Road, Neeses, S.C.  Burial will follow in Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites.   Pastor Bragg Williams will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be Sam Fanning, Randy Carrigg, Warren Wright, Roger Williams, Don Nettles, and Freddie Gibson.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Agape Sunday School Class.

Mr. Judy was born on September 9, 1941 in Orangeburg County.  He was the son of the late William Ralph Judy and the late Myrtle Williams Judy.  He was retired with twenty-eight years of service from SCE&G.  Mr. Judy was a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of Norway Masonic Lodge.  He loved farming, softball and spending time with his family under the oak trees. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gwen Judy and an infant son and a brother, Billy Judy.

Survivors include his children, Bud Judy (Angie) of Norway, Randall Judy (Angie) of Orangeburg; three grandchildren, Tripp Judy ( Ashley)  of Edisto Beach, Brad Judy (Haylee) of Norway, Thomas Judy of Orangeburg; six great-grandchildren, Hunter, Maxx, Maranda Judy all of Norway and Grace, Henry and William Judy all  of Edisto Beach; two sisters, Ida Murden of Norway and Maree Ball of Mt Pleasant, and a sister-in-law. Ruth Judy of  Summerville.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Jolley Acres Nursing Home for their love and support.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
