Irene (Felder) Wright

Irene Felder Wright, 79, of St. Matthews, SC, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025. She was the wife of the late Dobson Dewey Wright for 41 years.

Mrs. Wright was the daughter of the late Theodore W. Felder and Lois H. Felder, born on July 29, 1945, in Orangeburg, SC.

She was employed with Edisto School District as a substitute teacher and volunteer.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary W. Ott (Bobby); grandchildren Robert Dewey Ott and Joshua Frederick Ott (Amber) all of St. Matthews SC and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Dan Felder, Rodney Felder, Legree Felder and granddaughter Jessica Renee Ott.

The family will receive family and friends at Thompson Funeral Home, 1012 Whitman St., Orangeburg, S. C. on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glenallen, VA. 23060 or to a charity of one’s choice.
