James M. Dyson , 61 of 151 Crab Apple Ct., St. Matthews died Monday, September 14, 2015 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
Graveside Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Rd.; Columbia, SC 29229 directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
He was born January 20, 1954 in Charleston, SC; the son of the late Charles Dyson and the late Clara Lorine Infinger Dyson. He served in the US Marines and was a former employee of the City of Columbia.
Survivors include his wife; Laura Baker Dyson of the home; a son; Joshua Dyson of Gaston; 3 brothers; Michael Dyson and Bruce Dyson both of Charleston and Alton Dyson of Virginia and 3 sisters.
Friends may call at the residence; 151 Crab Apple Ct., St. Matthews, SC and at the funeral home.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
