James "Jimmy" Franklin Weeks, 65 of 2943 Riley Street; Orangeburg died Sunday, August 4, 2013 at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
The Casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service
Funeral Service will 2:00 PM Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Northside Baptist Church in Orangeburg with burial at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg with Dr. Shane Stutzman and Rev. Jim Parnell officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
Pallbearers will be Dwain Fogle, Theo Milhouse, Charlie Pace, Don Linder, Mike Heath, Jerry Whiteside, Mike Hunt Kelvin Chavis and Darrian Rivers.
He was born July 22, 1948 in Midway, SC; the son of the late James Willie Weeks and Daisy Bell Williams Weeks. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church. He was retired from Monumental Life Insurance Company; a graduate of Life Underwriter's Training Fellowship. Survivors include his wife of 42 years; Diane Bell Weeks of Orangeburg; 2 sons; Brad and Stephanie Weeks of Orangeburg; Andy Weeks of Orangeburg; 3 grandchildren; Brandon Weeks, Madison Weeks and Cameron Weeks all of Orangeburg; his Mother; Daisy Bell Williams Weeks of Orangeburg; 1 brother; Ray and Vickie Weeks of Cope and 1 sister; Diane Staley of Orangeburg and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the residence; 2943 Riley Street; Orangeburg and at the funeral home. Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
