James Allen Lamberth

James Allen Lamberth, Sr., 78, of Swansea passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg. Pastor Robert Templeton will be officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 prior to the memorial service.

Mr. Lamberth was born on September 27, 1940 in Nashville, TN.  He was the son of the late Aubrey Lamberth and the late Hazel Wilkinson Lamberth.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Marie Lamberth and a daughter, Donna Lamberth Bumgarner.

Survivors include his daughter, Renita Joyce Hailey of Swansea; sons, James Allen Lamberth (Sandra) of St. Matthews, Jeffrey Douglas Lamberth of St. Matthews; grandchildren, Jamie Renee Smith (Judson), Russell Glen Lamberth (Krystle), Rebecca Michelle Hilliard,  Anna Elaine Lamberth; great-grandson, Bren Smith; sister, Wilkie Jean Shepherd (Paul) of TN; brothers, Richard Oliver Lamberth (Faye) of TN, Robert Douglas Lamberth (Susie) of TN; nephews, Ricky Lamberth, Adam Shepherd and Jeffrey Paul Lamberth.
