James Leonard Lee, 75 of North passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019 at his home.

Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00 PM Wednesday at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

He was born December 18, 1943 in Orangeburg County, SC; the son of the late Lola Pinkney Lee and the late Jimmie Louise Hunnicutt Lee. He served in the U.S. Army for 4 years and the National Guard for 15 years. He was retired from Albemarle as an electrician. He was preceded in death by a sister; Doris Lee Mize, Brother; Robert E. Lee and sister-in- law; Bette S. Lee; his in-laws; Marion Judson Spires and Mary Ellen Harley Spires and by a sister-in-law; Faye S. Coulter.

Survivors include his wife; Margaret Ann Spires Lee of the home; a daughter; Tina Louise Lee (Robbie Fisk) of North; Grandchildren; Tina Marie Hoffman (Darrel Hooker) of North and Robbie Fisk, Jr.  (Zoey) of North; great grandchildren; Warren Lee Hooker, Sadie Grace Fisk; 2 sisters-in-law; Sarah S. Wannamaker and Carolyn S. Keller; brother-in-law; Franklin C. Coulter and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the residence and at the funeral home.

Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00 PM Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Memorials may be made to Regency Hospice; 1890 St. Matthews Road; Orangeburg, SC 29118 or to the American Cancer Society; 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.
