Mr. James Elbert Scott of Orangeburg, died Friday July 3, 2015 at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Scott was born June 13, 1939 in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Earl C. Scott and the late Maggie Bair Scott. He was retired owner and operator of Paul and Scott Company. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness and the widow of the late Dula Mae Pope Scott.
Surviving are three daughters; Renee and Timmy Bozard of Orangeburg, Belinda Diamond of Paxsville, and Tammie Scott of St. Matthews; one son, Stacey and Alicia Scott of St. Matthews; one brother, Bobby Scott of Aiken and seven grandchildren.
