Jane Elizabeth Hughes Tenet , 88 of the Oaks (Formerly of Winter Garden, Florida) died Wednesday May 7, 2014 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg; The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 5:00 PM Saturday before the service at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held 5:00 PM Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg with Rev. Kenneth Hay officiating. She was born March 14, 1926 in Bamberg,SC; the daughter of the late Henry Clay Hughes and the late Kathryn Folk Hughes. She was retired from Freeman Brothers Curtis Packing Plant in Winter Garden, FL. She was the widow of the late L. A. Tenet. Survivors include 3 nieces; Linda and David Earley of Orangeburg; Susan and Louis Utsey of Advance, NC; Janet Lee Evans and husband, Dr. Frank Brown of Ft. Worth, Texas; 1 nephew; Jimmy and Becky Evans of Bowman; Brothers-in-law; Russell and Billie Tenet of Eustis, FL and John Tenet of Paradise, CA great niece; Karen and Bobby Yongue of Livingston; great nephew; Wayne and Debbie Earley of Orangeburg. Friends may call at the residence of Linda and David Earley; 454 Bozard Road; Orangeburg and at the funeral home.
