Janice Smoak Kennerly

Mrs. Janice Smoak Kennerly, 59, died Saturday, December 7, 2013.

Memorial Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1144 Cordova Road, Cordova, S.C. with Rev. Bryan Self officiating, conducted by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg, S.C.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 P.M. Wednesday before the services at Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Mrs. Kennerly was born September 4, 1954 in Orangeburg, a daughter of the late Randolph P. Smoak and the late Cecilia Smoak. she was a graduate of the University of South Carolina. She taught at Hunter Kinard Tyler High School for 17 Years. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing and was an avid hunter and Carolina Gamecock Fan.

Survivors include her husband; Johnny "J.K." Kennerly of Cordova; one son; Justan Wolfe of Cope; one daughter; Holly (Shane) Hallowell of Summerville; one brother; Larry Smoak of Cordova; one sister; Sandra (Bill) Smith of Port Royal, Virginia; two granddaughters; Kaithlyn and Harper; Mother-in-law; Lois Kennerly of Lexington; sister-in-law; Linda Hooker of Lexington; and a number of nieces and nephews.
