Janie Dangerfield

Janie Dangerfield, 83, of Orangeburg, SC passed away in her home in Lawton, OK on January 16, 2025.

The family will receive friends between 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Thompson Funeral Home in Orangeburg, SC prior to the memorial service held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg.

Janie is survived by her three sons, Donald (Nicole) Kirby, Dean (Michelle) Kirby, Douglas Kirby; her grandchildren Courtney Kirby, Carsyn Frausto, Christina (Josh) Williams, Camryn (Alex) Crummie, Stokes Kirby, Tillman Kirby, Claire Kirby, Lillian Kirby, Cambelle Kirby, Genevieve Kirby and Amelia Kirby; and her great grandchildren: Addilyn Kirby, Warner Frausto, Charlotte Williams, and Joshua Williams, Jr., and many other nieces and nephews.

Janie is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Lovinia Salvo, her husband Clarence Dangerfield, and her sisters: Eloise McMichael, Pauline Johnson, Ethel Livingston, Ruby Baltzegar, and Annie Marie Salvo.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Stokes Kirby, Tillman Kirby, Alex Crummie, Josh Williams, Wayne Kirby, and Christopher Kirby.
