Janie (Waltz) Goodwin

Janie Waltz Goodwin, 93, of Orangeburg passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Northside Baptist Church prior to the funeral service.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Northside Baptist Church in Orangeburg.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Dr. Shane Stutzman will be officiating.

Mrs. Goodwin was born in Calhoun County.  She was the daughter of the late Arthur Waltz and the late Jessie Murphy Waltz.  She was predeceased by her husband, D. Lonnie Goodwin son, Wayne D. Goodwin and an infant son.

Survivors include, son, Danny L. Goodwin, Jr.  of Orangeburg; daughter, Sandra G. Abstance (David) of Chapin; two grandsons, David Abstance (Mitzi) and Joey Abstance (Kat) and five great-grandchildren.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Senior Solutions, special caregivers, Joann, Betty, Tara and Sandra and Grove Park Hospice.
