Jeanette Frances Cherry

Jeanette Frances Cherry, 79, died Friday, May 6, 2016 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, May 9, 2016 at Columbia Road Church of God in Orangeburg with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Keith Vaughn and Pastor Jonathan Vaughn officiating.

Pallbearers are Larry Dempsey, Jr., Dennis Dempsey, John Reid, Larry Lloyd, Ronnie Gibson, Jr., Randy Brown, Danny Dempsey Mrs. Cherry was born on November 6, 1936 in Orangeburg, S.C. She was the daughter of the late Bill Gibson and the late Burnice Vaughn Gibson. She was a member of Columbia Road Church of God in Orangeburg, S.C. Mrs. Cherry was retired from Hamrick's Manufacturing.

Survivors include a daughter Sandra and Larry Dempsey of Bamberg; 2 grandchildren Larry (Kateryna) Dempsey, Jr. of West Columbia and Dennis (Joanne) Dempsey of Anderson; 4 great-grandchildren Sophia and Danes Dempsey of West Columbia and Julia and Joy Dempsey of Anderson.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Diane and Evette and Hospice Care of the Tri-County.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Columbia Road Church of God in Orangeburg.
