Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg. Survivors include 2 sons; Leslie Monroe Phillips of Livingston; Richard Edward Phillips (Elizabeth) of Orangeburg; 1 sister; Lillie Dyches of Cope; 2 sisters-in-law; Katie Turner and Margaret Turner both of Orangeburg; 1 brother-in-law; James Gaskins of Charleston; grandchildren; Seth Phillips, Brianna Phillips, Zachary Herron and Russ Lynn Herron; a great grandson; Trevor Herron and a number of nieces and nephews.
