Jimmie Earl Nivens, Jr., born on January 13, 1970, in Bamberg, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, with his children by his side. Jimmie embodied a spirit of dedication and being a hard working man particularly evident in his career as a welder with Gulbransen, where he devoted many years contributing to the craftsmanship and integrity of the industry.

Jimmie was not only known for his hard work but also for his passion for spending quality time with his children. 

 Jimmie found joy in outdoor activities, particularly deer hunting, coon hunting, and fishing. These hobbies allowed him to connect with nature and create lasting memories with family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Jesse Nivens; his daughter, Donna Nivens; and his cherished grandchildren, Leanne Craven and Serenity McQuire. Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie Earl and Tommie Nivens.

Jimmie Earl Nivens, Jr. will be remembered for his loving spirit, dedication to his craft, and the joy he brought to those around him. His legacy lives on through his family, who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
