Jimmy Lee Brunson, 67, of 139 Hay Road, Cope, S.C., died Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Trident Hospital in Charleston, S.C.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Wednesday before the service at the funeral home.
A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg.
Mr. Brunson was born August 17, 1946 in Orangeburg; a son of the late Ernest Brunson and the late Mar Ida Hall Brunson. He was an electrician with Rockland Ind. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Brunson.
Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Brunson Crider of Cope; 2 grandchildren, Austin Crider and Anna Crider of Cope; 6 sisters; Betty Jean Netherton of Augusta, Suzie Zorn of Cherokee, NC; Nancy Zorn of Barnwell, Mary Jane Zorn of Cope, Frances Lyons of Branchville and Julie Dyches of Bamberg; 3 brothers; Hubert Rudd of Cope; Herbert "Pookey" Rudd of Norway and Howard Rudd of Barnwell; special friends, Gloria Carson, Jim Guess and Mike Peay.
