Joan (Padgett) Taylor

Joan P. Taylor, 76, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg. The family will receive friends following the service. Rev. Keith Vaughn and Rev. Bobby Williams will be officiating.
Mrs. Taylor was born on February 19, 1941 in Orangeburg, S.C. She was the daughter of the late George S. Padgett and the late Nina Hooker Padgett. She was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Holman.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Jimmy Taylor, Sr. of Orangeburg; one son, Jim (Grace) Taylor, Jr. of North; one grandson, Britton J. Taylor of North and one brother, George “Steve” (Brenda) Padgett of Neeses.
