Joe Frank Mcmillan

Mr. Joe Frank McMillan, 87, of Orangeburg, SC passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016. He was born September 12, 1928 in Hampton County, SC. Mr. McMillan retired from Winn Dixie after 53 years and then worked for Bilo for 5 years. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church. His favorite hobby was farming. He was a Korean War Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Frank and Lucy McMillan and son-in-law, Frank Jones.

Mr. McMillan is survived by his wife of 64 years, Annie T, (Anne) McMillan, his 3 daughters; Joanne (Charles) M. Epps of Blackville, SC; Stella (Daniel) J. Bozard of Columbia, SC and Marcia K. McMillan of Orangeburg, SC; seven grandchildren, Olivia Epps, Laurie Epps, Charlotte Epps, Joe (Kim) Jones, Ti Jones, Al Jones, Mac (Erin) Jones and one great granddaughter; Scarlet Jones; two brothers, Clarence (Rose) McMillan of Brunson, SC and Jimmie (Maude) McMillan of Brunson, SC; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, 1012 Whitman Street, Orangeburg, SC 29115 with Dr. Shane Stutzman officiating. The family will receive friends and family one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, Columbia Road, Orangeburg, SC immediately following service.

Pallbearers will be Charles Epps, Daniel Bozard, Newton McMillan, Joe, Ti, Al, and Mac Jones and Ned Stribling.

In lieu of flowers , Memorials may be made to Northside Baptist Church, 1250 Columbia Road, Orangeburg, SC 289115.
