JoElla Hoffman Gleaton , 93 of Orangeburg died

Sunday April 13, 2014 at The Methodist Oaks.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday,

April 17, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel

in Orangeburg with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery

in Orangeburg with Rev. Joel Campbell officitiating.

Pallbearers will be Walt Ginn, Wyman (Lee) Gleaton III, Robert

Gleaton, Andrew DeRienzo, Jimmy Gleaton and Patrick Gleaton.

She was born October 18, 1920 in Orangeburg, SC; the daughter

of the late Calhoun Earle Hoffman, Sr. and the late Berdye Fersner

Hoffman. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Orangeburg

where she served as a Sunday School teacher and a nursery worker.

She was a self-employed bookkeeper at Marine Sales and Service.

She was the widow of the late Wyman L. Gleaton, Sr.

Survivors include 2 sons; Wyman L. “Bud” Gleaton, Jr. and Mindy of

Wagener; Berry W. Gleaton of Orangeburg of Orangeburg; 3 grand-

children; Wyman “Lee” Gleaton III and Elaine of Middleburg, FL; Beth

Gleaton Metts of Lexington and Jimmy Gleaton and Tonya of Lexington;

6 great grandchildren; Robert and Patrick Gleaton; Kaitlin and Amber

Metts; Chanse and Anistyn Gleaton.

Friends may call at the funeral home.

Visitation will be held 6:00 tom 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 16, 2014

at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
