Joey Allen Altman , 42 of Holly Hill, SC passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019.

Visitation will be held 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, June 20, 2019 before the service at the funeral home.

Funeral  Services will be held  1:00 PM Thursday, June 20, 2019 Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with burial at Platt Family Cemetery in Holly Hill with Pastor Howard Proveaux and Pastor Carl Shaffer officiating directed by  Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Pallbearers will be Alvoid Pratt, Jr., Daniel Taylor, Bruce Platt, Joe Platt, Tony Altman, Daryl Pratt, Johnny Mixson.

Joey was born July 29, 1976 in Charleston, SC; the son of Allen Stanley Altman and Sybil Platt Vines. He was an electrician and a construction worker. A Member of St. George Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, the late John L. and Lula Jo Altman and his maternal grandfather Joel Platt.

Survivors include his Mother and Stepfather, Sybil P. Vines and Mark Alan Vines of Oviedo, FL; his father, Allen Stanley Altman of SC; his Maternal Grandparents; Margie and William Perry of Holly Hill, SC; Aunt Mollie Shaffer; his Uncles, Joe M. Platt, Bruce Platt and Daniel Taylor and a number of cousins.
