John J. Robinson, Jr.

John J. Robinson, Jr., 82, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 with his children by his side.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 2720 Broughton Street, Orangeburg. Rev. Jim Broad will be officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, 1012 Whitman Street, Orangeburg.

Mr. Robinson was born on April 8, 1942 in Orangeburg.  He was the son of the late John J. Robinson, Sr. And the late Hazel Irene Porter Robinson.  He was employed for many years with Albemarle as a chemical operator and quality control operator.

Survivors include his children, Johnny Robinson (Cathy), Mary Brown (Mike Todd), Beverly Robinson; grandchildren, Cody Brown, Brittany Venable; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Ann Edwards (Danny) his beloved cats and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a number of brothers and sisters.
