Mr. John Wayne Smoak, 70, died April 25, 2017 at Colleton Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Smoak was born November 13, 1946 in Orangeburg County. He was the son of the late John Graham Smoak and the late Thelma Brickle Smoak. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Cordova, SC. He was a truck mechanic for many years. Mr. Smoak served in the US Army, was a lifetime member of the VFW and a Volunteer Fire Fighter for the Cordova Fire Department.
Survivors include G. O. & Peggy Smoak of Cordova, SC, Richard & Louise Smoak of Cordova, SC, Moroma Smoak of Cope, SC and a friend Johnny Bozard of Branchville, SC.
