Jordan Lee Chaney

Jordan Lee Chaney, 15, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, after a heroic battle with leukemia, surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, 1012 Whitman Street, Orangeburg.  Pastor Wyatt Cook will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, 4830 Columbia Rd, Orangeburg.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Thompson Funeral Home prior to the service.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Michael Roscoe II, Christian Chavis, and Robert Craver.

Jordan was born on November 14, 2007, in Lexington, S.C.  He was the son of the late Lewis Chaney and Angela Christine Chavis.  He loved being outdoors.  Jordan enjoyed fishing, riding dirt bikes and anything that allowed him to be outside.  He was preceded in death by his father, his paternal grandmother, Patricia Chavis, and a cousin, Stephanie Fogle.

Survivors include his mother; siblings, Destiny Chavis, Michael Roscoe II, Alexis Chavis; maternal grandfather, Terry Chavis; nephew, Jaedyn Brown and a number of cousins.
