Joseph Cecil Morris, Sr. , 74, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at McCleod Health Clarendon in Manning.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at St. John United Methodist Church in Orangeburg. Rev. Lois Helms will be officiating.
Mr. Morris was born on February 14, 1943 in Orangeburg County. He was the son of the late Joseph Benjamin Morris and the late Shellie Browder Morris. He served in the United States Air Force. He obtained his Associates Degree in Engineering and was a supervisor for Orangeburg County. Mr. Morris was a member of St. John United Methodist Church in Orangeburg.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Rodenberg Morris; five children, Henry Pensel (Lori), Dena Ellis, Kathy Ramsey (Tom), Elaine Trail (Clif) and Joe Morris, Jr. (Kelly); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Frances Wynn, Dennis Morris and Patricia Turner.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 prior to the memorial service.
