Joyce Brant Bannister

Joyce Brant Bannister, 59 died Monday, August 4, 2014 at the Agape Hospice in Columbia, S.C.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 7, 2014 at the Memorial Church of the Nazarene on Berry Street, Orangeburg, S.C. with Rev. Billy Williams officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Sprague, Dean Sanders, Dean Sandifer, Danny Creel, Gerald Martin, and David Nettles.

Mrs. Bannister was born August 3, 1955, in Columbus, Georgia; a daughter of George Brant and the late Ernestine Jones Brant She was a member of the Memorial Church of the Nazarene. She worked at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church Day Care.

Survivors include her husband-Ricky Bannister of Cordova, S.C.; one daughter, Lynn and Fonzie Brown of Bamberg, S.C. three sons; Bubba and Jennifer Bannister of Bamberg, S.C., John and Katie Bannister of Norway, S.C. and Jason and Tasha Bannister of Cordova, S.C. three grandchildren; Fonzie Brown, Lynzie Brown and Brayden Bannister; her father; George Brant of Orangeburg; one brother; Billy and Stephanie Brant of Orangeburg; three sisters; Diane and Chris Clark of Charleston; Marie and Doyle Punches of Hartsville and Evelyn and Tommy Edgemon of Cope; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the residence of John and Katie Bannister, 6281 Norway Road, Norway, S.C.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at the Memorial Church of the Nazarene on Berry Street
