Kathleen Marie Cook Smith, 56 of Orangeburg died Sunday, January 10, 2016.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 15, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with burial at 2:00 PM at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road; Columbia, SC 29209 with Rev. Nathaniel Bonaparte officiating.
Pallbearers will be Lee Smith, Devon Fitzwater, Donovan Grubbs, Brandon Hampton, Mike Cook and Mark Godwin
She was born January 5, 1959 in Orangeburg, SC; the daughter of the late Charles Cook and the late Euna Lee Scott Cook. She was like a mother to everybody that she came in contact with.
Survivors include her children; Ashley Nicole Salvaggio, Ernest Leland Smith III and Lindsey Erin Smith all of Orangeburg; grandchildren; Olivia Jenae Salvaggio, Evelyn Aundraya Smith and Braydon Dean Smith all of Orangeburg; 3 brothers; Michael (Donna) Cook, James "Jimmy" Cook and Mark Cook all of Orangeburg and adopted son, Devon Fitzwater of West Virginia and her loving pet of 14 years, Mercedes.
Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
