Kermit Emery Kramer

US Air Force Retired Master Sergeant Kermit Emery Kramer, 83 of Orangeburg died Monday, March 16, 2015 at his residence.

The Casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service

Funerral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Faith Baptist Church; Highway 21, St. Matthews.

Graveside Service will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, March 21,2015 at Evergreen Cemetery; 802 North Guinyard Drive, Sumter, SC 29150 with Military Honors directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg with Pastor Ernie Medlin officiating.

He was born January 4, 1932 in Lehigh, PA; the son of the late William Kramer and the late Rosa Brunner Kramer. He was a Retired Master Sergeant of the U.S. Air Force after serving 22 years. He was retired from CarTech. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He was the widower of the late Frances M. Kramer.

Survivors include a son; Jeffrey Kramer of Lexington; a daughter Kimberly K. Pitts and husband Duane R. Pitts of Orangeburg; 4 grandchildren; Matthew Kramer, Joshua Kramer both of Lexington; Corey Pitts and Courtney Pitts both of Orangeburg; brothers and sisters from PA and a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the residence and at the funeral home. Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, March 20, 2015 at Thompson Funeral home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
