Larry Randolph Smoak, 80, of Cordova passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, after a brief illness.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
Larry was born in Orangeburg County. He was the son of the late Randolph P. Smoak and the late Cecelia S. Smoak. He was a graduate of Edisto High School in Cordova. After graduation he joined the United States Air Force and served his country. He retired from Cox Industries after more than 30 years of employment. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. His greatest accomplishment was being a “Paw” to his grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Janice Kennerly and Sandra Smith.
Survivors include his son, Travis Smoak (Jennifer); grandchildren, Raelee Smoak, Annsley Smoak; brothers-in-law, William T. Smith, Johnny Kennerly; nephews, Justin Wolfe (Ashleigh), Dustan Fleming (Julie); nieces, Shellie Clift (Bill), Allison King (Paul), Brooke Yarbrough (John); great nieces and nephews, Evan and Mattie Wolfe, Will and David Clift, Joshua, Justin and Jamison King, Jack and Brayden Yarbrough and Noah and Ava Fleming.
