Lauren Elizabeth Baldwin -DVM, 30 died Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Oconee Hospice of the Foothills Cottingham House in Seneca, SC.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with Rev. Henry Cooper officiating.
She was born March 3, 1984 in Orangeburg, SC; a daughter of Paul Wyman Baldwin and Anne Walters Baldwin. She always knew from a very early age that she wanted to be a Veterinarian due to her love of horses. She was very unselfish, always thinking of others before herself. She graduated from Clemson University and UGA in Athens, GA. She served 3 years in the US Army Veterinary Corps working on Calvary Horses and Border Patrol Dogs in Arizona. She worked all over the United States including working with the Kentucky Derby Horses and the Canadian Olympic Horses. She was employed at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Saratoga, New York State.
Survivors include her Father; Paul Wyman Baldwin of Orangeburg and her Mother; Anne Walters Baldwin of Clemson, SC.
The family will receive friends after the Memorial Service on Saturday at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
