Legrand Hughes, Jr.

Legrand Hughes, Jr., 73, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018.

A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2610 Ninety Six Rd, Neeses, SC 29107.  Burial will follow at the church cemetery.  Rev. Legrande Taylor and Rev. Henry Chavis will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be Mr. Legrand’s nephews.

He was born on January 6, 1945 in Orangeburg County.  He was the son of the late Legrand Hughes and the late Virginia Binnicker Hughes. He was a member of Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church in Neeses.  Mr. Hughes was predeceased by his daughter, Jennifer Hughes and his brother, Joseph Hughes.

Survivors include his wife of twenty-two years, Mildred B. Hughes; brother, Nathan Hughes of Branchville; sister, Judy (Willie) Knight of Bolentown; children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the residence.

Visitation will follow the graveside service on Sunday, February 4, 2018 in the church sanctuary.
