Mrs. Lenore Joan Urbanski Craft, 87, of Cope, S.C. passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017 surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Bethel Church in Orangeburg.  Pastors Joey and Renee Bozard will be officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Orangeburg, S.C.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Lenore’s grandsons and her grandsons-in-law; Christopher P. Bates, Justin A. Bates, Matthew T. Bates, Kyle M. Olbrich, Russell J. Grosslight and Shawn Wise.

Mrs. Craft was born on March 9, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Stanley “Charlie” Urbanski and the late Amelia Helen Dabkowski Urbanski. Lenore had a wide range of career experiences including work with OCAB Headstart and owning/operating a small business in Cordova, S.C.  She had a selfless spirit and gave back to the community through her association with DSS, where she provided shelter for abused and neglected children.  She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Donald Urbanski.

Survivors include her husband, James E. Craft, of the home; children; Bob Brugge (Linda) of Ouray, Colorado; Nancy Hwee of Kent Ohio; Tom Brugge (Vivien) of Grand Junction, Colorado; James L. Craft (Rose Marie) of Orangeburg; Jodi Craft Bates of Summerville, S.C.;  Jeffrey J. Craft (Tina) of Cope, S.C.and Steven Farr of Toledo, Ohio; grandsons; Christopher P. Bates, Justin A. Bates, Matthew T. Bates, James E. Craft, II, Shawn Wise; granddaughters; Tiffany A. Craft, Lauren A. Craft, Dorsey Craft Olbrich (Kyle), Lainee Craft Grosslight (Russ), Shelley Wise Banas, Amanda Brugge; three great-grandsons and a brother Robert “Bob” Urbanski (Irene) of Independence, Ohio.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
