Lester Wells Rickenbaker, 67, of Elloree, S.C. died Friday, January 23, 2015 at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M., Sunday, January 25, 2014 at Santee Bible Baptist Church in Santee, S.C. with Rev. Gene Ball, Rev. Ken Hay, and Rev. Bud Judy officiating.
Mr. Rickenbaker was born March 3, 1947 in Orangeburg, S.C.. He was the son of the late William Osborn Rickenbaker and the late Virginia Alice Hungerpillar. He was retired from Carolina Eastman. He was predeceased by brothers, Bozie Rickenbaker and Irby Rickenbaker and a sister Linda Myers.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Elizabeth Ann Smith Rickenbaker; 1 son, Lester Ray Rickenbaker of Elloree, S.C.; 2 sisters, Bessie Pelletier (Roland) of Columbia, S.C., Gloria Steele (Marion) of Columbia, S.C. and a special pet Juicy Fruit.
Friends may call at the residence. Visitation will be 3:00-4:00 P.M., Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Santee Bible Baptist Church in Santee, S.C.
