Linda J Boltin

Linda J. Boltin ,  71  of Gaston, SC   died Friday,  August 18, 2017 at her residence.

Visitation will be held 1:30 to 2:30 PM Tuesday before the service at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held   3:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at  Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg  with Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg.

Pallbearers  will be Austin Amaker, Brandon Robinson, Jae Easley, Johnnie Pindak, Nelson Pindak and Matthew Boltin.

She was born August 5, 1946 in Dekalb, GA; the daughter of the late Lonnie Jacobs and the late Cecil Willis Jacobs. She was retired from Hughes Aircraft. She was the widow of the late Hoyte Boltin and was preceded in death by a daughter; Kathy Boltin; 1 sister, Geraldine J. Rice, 3 brothers; Eugene Jacobs, Edward “Eddie” Jacobs and Chester W. “Red” Jacobs and a loving pet, Tippy.

Survivors  include 1 son; Hoyte Boltin, Jr. (Denise McDougal) of Gaston; daughter; Mrs. Allen (Sharon) Pruitt of Orangeburg; grandchildren; Zachary Boltin, Matthew Boltin and Bubba Boltin and a number of nieces and nephews. She was also survived by a special friend, Victor Neuman and his children, Victor Neuman, Jr. and Patty Johnson.

Visitation will be held from  1:30 TO 2:30 PM Tuesday before the service at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
