Linda Bonnette (Carson) Hardee

Linda W. Carson Bonnette Hardee, 80, of Orangeburg passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, 1012 Whitman St., Orangeburg, S.C.

She is survived by her two sons, Henry E. “Eddie” Bonnette, Jr., (Tommie); Leslie “David” Bonnette (Amy); daughter, Lisa Bonnette Treadaway (Tim); sister, Susanne Chasten (Hugh); stepsons, James L. (Jimmy) Hardee, Jr. (Glenda), Gary Hardee (Ginger); nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two nephews; a niece and two special friends, Joyce Austin, and Sissy O’Cain .

She was the preceded in death by her parents, L. C. Carson and Louise C. Carson; daughter Linda Renee’; her first husband Henry Bonnette and her second husband, James L. Hardee.

Linda enjoyed many years serving the community at the Edisto youth concessions ballgames, the Orangeburg Rose Festival, and the annual Coon Hunt and several years at Marion Square in Charleston with her “Coco’s Donuts.”
