Linda Faye (Williams) Stroud

Linda F. Stroud, 79, of Elloree, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Fellowship of Praise Church, 8280 Old Number Six Hwy, Santee, S.C.  Pastor Ronnie Spires will be officiating.  Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Fellowship of Praise Church prior to the funeral service.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Matthew Lee, Tyler Gladden, Carson Stroud, John Michael Guidry, Gregg Riser, and Marvin Cross.

Mrs. Stroud was born on March 13, 1944, in Loris, S.C.  She was the daughter of the late Carson Williams and the late Leona Faulk Williams.  She met and married the love of her life, Lawrence “Larry” Stroud; they were married for over 61 years, until his death in 2022.  She was a faithful member of Fellowship of Praise Church in Santee.  Mrs. Stroud enjoyed being outdoors.  Fishing, gardening, traveling to the mountains and the beach brought her so much joy.  She was also an experienced porcelain doll maker.  Her greatest love was her family.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.  Her memory will continue to live in the hearts of those that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Eric Stroud, a sister, Carol McPherson, brothers, Ricky Williams and Greg Williams.

Survivors include children, Milton Stroud (Brenda), Denise Lee (Lance); grandchildren, Matthew Lee (Erin) Amanda Gladden (Tyler), MaKinzie Guidry (John Michael), Carson Stroud; great-grandchildren, Gregory Guidry, MaKenna Gladden, Khloe Stroud, Colton Lee, Jace Gladden, Allison Stroud, Brantley Guidry, Will Stroud; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Stroud; brother, Wayne Williams (Carol).  She was also loved by many nieces, nephews, friends and church family.
