Lisa Diane Warner (Ott), 58, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025, in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
Born on November 26, 1966, in Orangeburg, Lisa was the beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry and Ann Mills Ott, Jr. She remained deeply rooted in her hometown throughout her life, where she cultivated a strong sense of community and faith.
Lisa shared 29 devoted years of marriage with her husband, Steve "Glenn" Warner. Together they raised their son, Stevie Warner, Jr., who brought immense joy to her life.
A dedicated entrepreneur, Lisa was the proud owner and operator of Dukes Barbeque in Charleston for over three decades. Her commitment to the business reflected her strong work ethic and love for bringing people together through food.
Lisa had a deep appreciation for beauty and creativity. She loved flowers and found joy in attending craft shows. Her generous spirit extended into the community through her volunteer work at Marshall School, where she gave her time with warmth and dedication.
Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. Lisa was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church and an active participant in the Faithful Workers Sunday School Class. Her presence within the church community was marked by devotion and kindness.
Lisa is lovingly remembered by her parents; her husband, Glenn; and her son, Stevie Jr. She also leaves behind cherished aunts, Jane Davis and Ann Kovach; cousins, Roger Kovach, Jr. (Christi), Allan Kovach (April), Kevin Davis, Jennifer Newsome, Dr. Brian Newsome, and Susan Rucker (Randy); as well as a special friend, Wendy Lee.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Harry "JoJo" Ott.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church, 4000 Riverbank Drive, Orangeburg. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 3:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church, 4000 Riverbank Drive, Orangeburg. Dr. Billy Hurst, Rev. Larry Williams and Rev. Anthony Hughes will be officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 2720 Broughton Street, Orangeburg.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Dr. Johnny Ray Dukes, Kirk Davis, Chris Warner, Johnathan Easterlin, CJ Warner and Robert Davis.
Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Faithful Workers Sunday School Class.
Flowers or a memorial may be given in Lisa’s memory to New Hope Baptist Church, 4000 Riverbank Drive, Orangeburg, S.C. 29118.
Lisa’s legacy is one of love, service, faith, and family.
