Lois Betty Farman

Lois Betty Farman, 82 of Chapin (formerly of Orangeburg) died at her residence Friday, August 21, 2015.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, August 24, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg with Rev. Brad Chandler officiating.

Pallbearers will be Douglas Farman, Allen Farman, D.J. Farman, Gary Farman, Jake Farman, Daren Farman, Little John Farman and Stanley Farman

She was born March 6, 1933 in Cortland, New York; the daughter of the late John Bush and the late Nona Rood Bush. She was a former member of Gospel Light Baptist church. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lois liked sewing, painting, quilting, flowers and all other crafts. She was the widow of the late Jack H. Farman and was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her children; Benjamin, David (Janie), Gary (Fran), Stanley (Carolyn), Martin (Marlene), Todd (Teresa), Lucinda (David) Minnick, Jake(Cindy), Jamie (Cindy), Daren (Kitty), Guy (Amanda), John (Mandy), Jessie (Leigh Ann) Farman; 40 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 1 sister, Fern Franklin and 1 brother, Richard Bush.

Friends may call at the residence of Jessie and Leigh Ann Farman; 4327 Slab Landing Road; Cope, SC.

Visitation will be held 1:00 to 3:00 PM before the service at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Memorials may be made to a Cancer Society of one's choice.
