Lois Jeannette (Shuler) Sanchez, a loving wife, devoted mother, and doting grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on July 7, 1936, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, Lois was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her.

For many years, Lois dedicated herself to a rewarding career as a truck driver for the Coca-Cola Company, a testament to her strong work ethic and adventurous spirit. Her journey on the open road was a reflection of her desire to embrace life fully, encompassing the same passion she brought to her family and relationships.

Lois carried a warmth in her heart that was palpable to all around her. She loved her family fiercely and made it her life's mission to nurture and support them. Her beloved husband, Mario A. Sanchez, stood by her side, creating a lifetime of memories filled with love and laughter. Together, they raised a family that thrived under Lois's caring touch. She is survived by her son, Arthur Sweatman, and his wife Linda; daughters, Gwen Blewer, married to Mike, and Sharon Hamp, together with Kent. Lois also cherished her stepdaughter, Lois Ann Piccioni, and took great joy in being surrounded by her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. Her legacy will continue to live on through the four grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren who will forever hold her close in their hearts.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, William David Shuler and Virginia Parler Shuler, who laid the foundation for her caring spirit. Her nurturing nature touched countless lives, and she will be deeply missed by all.

The community is invited to pay their respects during visitation at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Orangeburg, South Carolina, on December 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. This will be followed by a funeral service, celebrating Lois’s incredible life at the same location, starting at 11:00 AM.
