Louise S. Austin ,89 of Bowman died February 16,2013 at The Regional Medical Center.
Services will be held 3:00 February 18,2013 at White House United Methodist Church with Rev. Marie Ray officiating, burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Austin was born June 30,1923 in Orangeburg County SC, a daughter of the late Marion W Stroman and Gussie Till Stroman. She was a member of White House United Methodist Church, the Friendship Sunday Scholl Class, taught Sunday School for many years and was a member of the choir. A member of the United Methodist Women, the Young At Hearts, and various other positions in the church. A Stanley Home Products Agent for over 40 years. The widow of the late Henry Timrod Austin, SR She was a loving and devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother and a friend to all who knew her.
Survivors include her children, Patricia Pardue, Susan and Roy Ziegler, H.T. and Donna Austin, Janice and Bruce Wiles all of Orangeburg and Velvet and Lawton Wiles of Elloree, a sister Miriam Burrell of Mt Pleasant S.C.; 11 grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 Sunday February 17,2013 at Thompson Funeral Home Inc. in Orangeburg.
The family would like to give a special Thanks to Dr. Vann Beth Shuler, the nursing stall of 3rd East-The Regional Medical Center, Wayne and Pam Davis for the loving care they gave to our Mother.
