Luther Donald Berry, Sr. , 60 of 124 Thorndyke Road; Orbg. died Monday, February 2, 2015 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
A Memorial Service will be held 5:00 PM Saturday, February 7, 2014 with Rev. Darryl Boyleston officiating.
Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg is assisting the family.
He was born July 27, 1954 in Branchville, SC; a son of the late Luke Wallace Berry and the late Louise Queenie Brown Berry. He served in the US Navy and was owner and operator of Berry's Electrical Service. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Wallace Berry and Raymond Berry.
Survivors include his wife; Elizabeth VanValkenburgh Berry of the home; 1 son; Luther D. Berry, Jr. and Cindy of Orangeburg; 2 daughters; Angela LaFrance and Joseph P. of Orangeburg; Shirley Smith and Shaun of Orangeburg; 7 grandchildren; Destiny, Alex, Joey, Luke, Lena, Tori and Kayla; 1 sister; Tammy and Richard VanValkenburgh of Orangeburg and a number of nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to Branchville Volunteer Fire Department.
