M. Elaine Lawson

M. Elaine Williams Lawson, 64, of Orangeburg passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 29, 2022.

A private family service will be held.

Mrs. Lawson was born on June 18, 1957, in Orangeburg, S.C.  She was the daughter of the late Grover L. Williams and Oreta Nettles Williams.  She enjoyed watching tv and being at the beach, but her love was being with her family.  She was predeceased by her father and her brother, Melvin O. Williams.

Survivors include her children, Heather Elaine Whisenhunt, J. “Todd” Troutman, Travis G. Troutman (Jennifer); grandchildren, Nicholas Dukes, Dalton Whisenhunt, Megan Whisenhunt, Dakota M. Troutman, Noah G. Troutman; mother, Oreta Nettles Williams; sister, Lynette Price (Lee) and a number of nieces and nephews.
