Malcolm G. Rider

Malcolm G. Rider, 76, of Cordova passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024, after an extended illness.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, 4830 Columbia Road, Orangeburg.

Malcolm was born on June 14, 1947, in Rock Hill, S.C.  He was the son of the late John C. Rider and the late Lorene Munn Rider.  He was a roofer by trade and worked many years in the roofing industry until his health failed.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Angela Rider, his son, Michael Rider, brothers, Myron Rider, Johnny Rider, Kerwin “Curly” Rider, T. Kevin Rider, nephews, Larry Rider, Christian Rider, Robbie Rider and Terry Kevin Rider, Jr.

Survivors include his grandchildren, Sabrina Rider, Michael Rider, Taylor Rider; brother, Don (Debra) Rider; sister, Patricia “Sissy” Jennings; sister-in-law, Lilliam Rider and a number of nieces and nephews.
