Marilyn Lynell "Linda" Davis

Marilyn Lynell “Linda” Davis , 72 of Orangeburg passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at her residence.

A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 16 2018 at Pinehill United Methodist Church Cemetery in Neeses with  Rev. Billy Williams officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg

Pallbearers will be  Andrew Walling, Mark Walling, Donnie Davis, Rickie Betsill, F. Hammond Johnson, Jr. and Butch Davis.

She was born June 30, 1946 in Charleston, SC; the daughter of the late F. Hammond Johnson and the late Helen Hogan Johnson. She was a member of Pinehill United Methodist Church and was retired from the Orangeburg County Council of Aging.

Survivors  include her husband, Kenneth D. Davis of the home; a son; Donnie L. Davis (Tia) of Orangeburg; 3 grandchildren; Trinity Jolie Davis of Orangeburg, Donnie K. Davis, Jr. of Orangeburg and  Stephanie Benton of Clearwater, FL; a brother, F. Hammond Johnson, Jr. (Cathy) of Charleston and a sister; Carol J. Childers of Charleston and 5 nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the residence.

Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, October 15, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
